The aims of the group are simple, to promote Astrology in the North West, to educate its members and the public on all aspects of astrology and to provide a base for like-minded people to meet, socialize and share astrological knowledge.
Welcome to our website
This is the place to find out about our Astrological Society's monthly meetings, online newsletter, astrological events and annual Christmas Lunch. If you have any queries, please use the contact details from the link above to get in touch.
The Society normally meets in a private room on the first Tuesday of the month (from February to November), at Blackpool Cricket Club, West Park Drive, Blackpool at 8 pm. There is a small charge of £5 to help pay for the room hire and speaker.
At our monthly meetings, we always have a speaker, either from our own group or a guest speaker from the North West, National, or even International. We also have a fun prize raffle.
All of the Society's meetings are open to the public, and new faces are always assured a warm welcome. It's a great place for making like-minded friends!
The club's members range from complete beginners to professional Astrologers; there is always something for everyone at Northern Lights. The club's president is the famous TV astrologer Russell Grant.
Christmas Treat!
Every year we have an Annual Christmas Lunch, with a special Guest Speaker, at the Bedford Hotel in St Annes. After a delicious, freshly cooked 3 course lunch in luxurious surroundings, our speaker gives an after-dinner talk (which lasts around an hour). We also had a raffle and some stalls with astrological goodies on. It's a great opportunity to celebrate the festive season with like-minded friends, old and new.
This year on on Sunday 13th December our speaker will be Bernard Eccles! Bernard has been writing and teaching about Astrology for over forty years. Twice President of the Astrological Lodge in London ,and winner of the Charles Harvey award in 2011, his enthusiasm for the Ancient world and in Divination is as bright as ever. Tickets will be available from our Treasurer Kathy Rowan (kathyrowan18@hotmail.com) 07788 525397 from September 2026 onwards.
